A friend of mine has told me that FRASERBURGH (the Broch) had casualties from air raids in WW2 and he knows of FW Woolworths shop and MaConnachies factory etc being bombed with casualties Over 33 in total
Air Raids took place 13 Aug 1940
5 Nov 1940
5 April 1941
17 April 1941
26 June 1941
20 Feb 1943
some of the casualties from the bombing of 4 april 1941 at Macconnnies factory in Fraserburgh died in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary so may be listed as Aberdeen casualties

There were air raids on a number of North East towns and installations including Fraserburgh, Peterhead and Aberdeen.
If you post the details you have in the Non Commemorations section of any individuals you believe may be missing from the CWGC Civilian Roll I can check them out further.
Your first port of call should be the CWGC search.
There were 33 civilians reported by Fraserburgh burgh. As you point out, some may have died in Aberdeen.

regarding a book "Luftwaffe Over Scotland" by a Fraserburgh man, Les Taylor.
He gives the number of raids as Peterhead 28, Aberdeen 24, Fraserburgh 23, Edinburgh 18, Montrose 15 and Glasgow 11.
During one of the raids on Montrose one of "my" men was killed:
John Alexander Rae, Leading Aircraftsman (536791) Royal Air Force. Age 26.
Born 1914 at Crossmichael.Son of George Charles Rae and of Jane Muir (Bickett) Rae; step-son of Florence Annie (Dale) Rae of Greenlaw, Crossmichael.
Killed on active service 25 October 1940 during an bombing raid on RAF Montrose and buried in Crossmichael Parish Churchyard (CWG)

Derek (Delboy) has just produced a list of the civilian casualties from the Fraserburgh WM - see http://warmemscot.s4.bizhat.com/warmemscot-ftopic1715-0-asc-60.html (page 13)
Of the 33 casualties on CWGC for Fraserburgh, 7 are not listed on the memorial. It appears that they died there but were not "of" Fraserburgh.

These civilians are not listed as Aberdeen. They died in Aberdeen and so that means that Aberdeen was the Reportiny Authority in these cases. Burial details are not given for civilians, all that CWGC were required to do was maintain the Roll of Civilian Dead from information provided to them.
The Chalmers sisters are not stated to be in Rosehearty Cemetery, they died in the town and Rosehearty reported the deaths. It was bombed more than once.

Quite right Jim. I was using Aberdeen as a kind of "short-hand" I didn't mean to imply they casualties were buried there. 
Rosehearty Cemetery was mistake.  Now corrected.
