I found this site through googling Farquhar's name.
FARQUHAR J E M
United Kingdom Major Cameron Highlanders 15/09/1916 V. A. 12.

A WW1 1914-1915 Star of the above person has come into my possession. Does anyone know if there are any descendants of the above or of his family that would like to have the medal. Or does anyone know how I would find out if there are ?

Failing that does anyone know of a Military museum that would like it?

There is a local Museum in Gourdon who might be interested. I will try and find out who currently runs it and get back to you.

I would suggest a letter to the relevant local newspaper too.

Derek.

It's a shame that the other 2 of 'pip, squeek and wilfred' aren't there as well. MIC shows the usual 3 medals and gives NOK as his sister at Hallgreen Castle.
