A new abbreviation for me for Archibald McTavish. Loch Cam which I assume stands for Locheil's Camerons which would be 5th, 6th or 7th Battalions Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders.

Also new to me is this text
These went out from us and came not back
It doesn't seem to be biblical.
The other one seems to be taken from John Bunyon's 'Pilgrim's Progress'.
So they passed over and all the trumpets sounded for them on the other side
he / him has been replaced by they / them
Regards
