UKNIWM 57000

Originally located in Lochryan Parish church, then moved to Stranraer Museum Store, 14 Bellevilla Rd, Stranraer OS Map Ref NX 063 608 when the church was demolished and later moved to Cairnryan Graveyard (in November 2011?) OS Map Ref NX 062 689.

Whilst in the museum store, the plaque was laid flat on a wooden store shelf so I took several photos to show the detail. UKNIWM records that this is mounted on a wooden backboard but there is no backboard present now.

I have not been able to get a photo of the original location but am still trying.

Info received from John Pickin, curator of Dumfries museum that this memorial may be on the move back to its original parish to go on display. I don't yet have the details but will provide an update as soon as I hear anything.

This memorial has now been relocated in Cairnryan graveyard against the wall furthest from the entrance.
