The Roll of Honour for Fallen Comrades which was in the Royal British Legion building in Dalbeattie and is now in the Parish Church
http://warmemscot.s4.bizhat.com/viewtopic.php?t=2035
has some "odd" errors - Dill should be McDill and Caig, McCaig - but I've managed to sort most of them.
However the third column has a D. Dixon and a W. Dixon both Privates in the Gordon Highlanders and I cannot seem to find them anywhere.
They're not in the Stewartry RoH or on any local WM. They are not even "Dicksons" - I think
Some fresh eyes are needed, please. _________________ Ken |

Thanks for looking Derek.
I was beginning to think it was just me.
Judging by some of the other entries the initials, names and regiments could be wrong - and in this case it could be all three _________________ Ken |
