The entry for James Rodger Thomson, Pte in Australian Infantry is a little vague in that it states he died on Spetember 1916. I believe he may be Pte 908 James Rodger Neilson Thomson who enlisted with the Australians in 1914 and eventaully rose to the rank of Captain, was mentioned in despatches and survived the war.
