This memorial was removed to the Crieff North U.P. Church when the congregation united with West Church after its closure. The building it occupies is now the Church Hall for the Parish Church and called St. Andrew's Hall (follow ?)

Could be this man? TELEGT suggests Telegraphist but I would have thought that would be Royal Engineers. I've seen a man serving in an infantry unit listed as signaller but this is the unit and he is listed as private.

There are two Thomas McEwens listed on the Crieff War Memorial

One Black Watch, the one listed above, and one Royal Scots. Muthill is just a mile or two down the road from Crieff but there is no Thomas McEwen listed.
