Thornliebank Parish Church, 61 Spiersbridge Road, Thornliebank, Glasgow G46 7HT
(Spiersbridge Church and Woodlands Church amalgamated to form Thornliebank Parish Church)

The congregation of Spiersbridge Church and Woodlands Church joined and occupied the Woodlands Church Building. The Spiersbridge Church building was used as the church hall. When the congregation realised that they could not keep the two buildings going, they moved back to the original Spiersbridge building.
The Church then became known as Thornliebank Parish Church. www.thornliebankchurch.co.uk



The WW1 memorial (from Spiersbridge Church) is inscribed as follows:

TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN GRATEFUL
MEMORY OF THE MEN FROM THIS CHURCH
WHO FELL IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 – 1919
