I think the two brothers names are on the War memorial in Sanquar. Their brother is my grandfather who was awarded the DCM and bar in WW1 and was a POW in WW2. He was very fond of his two big brothers! My Mum and Aunt were named after the two Watson ladies.
I am in Canada...so this is a treasure!

I'm afraid there are no Milligan's on the Sanquhar memorial - it's a beutiful memorial though - I collected it and posted it (see under Dumfries and Galloway, civic memorials for photos). You can look through the memorials that I and others have posted, if you think there is a memorial in this area that they might be on and it is not posted, let me know and I will see what I can do |
