The memorial is situated in Newton Mearns Parish Church.




The Anderson memorial window is inscribed as follows:

“Jesus saith unto him. Go thy way; thy Son Liveth.”

The plaque is inscribed as follows


TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN MEMORY OF
LIEUTENANT ROBERT TOPPING ANDERSON MC 9TH HLI
KILLED IN FRANCE 24TH OCTOBER 1918
ALSO HIS FATHER
ALEXANDER ROBERTSON ANDERSON
DIED 20TH JUNE 1927
THE WINDOW WAS GIFTED TO THE CONGREGATION BY
MRS MARGARET ANDERSON

He is also named on a number of other memorials: Newton Mearns Church, Orchardhill Parish Church, Giffnock, Glasgow High School and the Donaldson Line Memorial.
