Not listed on UKNIWM
OS Map Ref NX 630 484

The village of Borgue is on the B757 south of Kirkcudbright.
The Roll of Honour of the members of Borgue United Free Church is now in the Borgue Village Hall. The church, now a private residence and the adjacent Village Hall are on the T junction in the centre of the village.

PTE. WILLIAM CURRIE

I have just had confirmation from CWGC that William's date of death was 1918 and not 1916 as originally shown on their Register.

Thomas Nelson Clark was also Killed.
A Kirkcudbright lad he was living with his wife in Borgue when he enlisted in September 1916.
He joined the KOSB but was posted to 12th HLI in France.
He is listed on the Borgue and Kirkcudbright War Memorials.
