Broughton High School
Location: New Broughton High School, Fettes Avenue, Edinurgh

These plaques now sit in the entrance hall of the swanky new Broughton High School, built last year.
They would have originally hung in the Broughton Higher Grade School built on the corner of Broughton Road and Macdonald Road in 1903. It was replaced in the 1960s with another building in the Fettes Avenue location which was demolished to make way for the new school.

The Latin motto is "Fortier et Recte" and means "Have the strength to do the right thing"

Note there is a Falklands War name at the bottom of the WW2 panel
