I am having difficulty finding a birth certificate for Robert McDougall
Pte S/4262, 9th Black Watch Missing/KIA Loos 25/9/1915.
Father Peter McDougall Chapel St Aberfeldy.
Cannot find a birth cert for a Robert McDougall with a Father Peter, but have one for a John McDougall Father Peter.
John McDougall born 13/7/1885 Father Peter Mother Isabella, nee McGregor
Could this be him, or does anyone have any other information on this man?
The man am researching is also commemorated on Blair Atholl Memorial, as Robert McDougall.

Here you go Mike,
Robert McDougall was born on the 11th October, 1881 at 36 Inglefield Road, Glasgow. He was the son of Peter McDougall (glass merchant's vanman), a native of Fortingall, by his wife Isabella McGregor - born Dull.
Isabella died at Grandtully of bronchitis in 1887 whence Peter and Robert took up residence at Chapel Street, Aberfeldy.
Peter married again in 1882 to Helen Campbell in the Free Church at Aberfeldy but was predeceased by her when she succumbed to heart disease in 1902.
I don't think 'your' Robert is listed at Blair Atholl but this man;
