MILITARY FUNERAL AT AUCHTERARDER
The funeral of Lance-Corporal John M'Glashan, Black Watch, took place to Auchterarder Cemetery on Monday. The Auchterarder Platoon of Volunteers, under Lieut. Hally, furnished an escort, while the bearer part was composed of non-commissioned officers, and men who had served along with L-Cpl. M'Glashan. L-Cpl. M'Glashan was the only son of Mr John M'Glashan, agent, Auchterarder. He was wounded in the leg, and was discharged from the Army about a year ago. He was a great sportsman, and was a member of Auchterarder Football Club, and also of the Brass Band.

Evidence that the surname and date of death were incorrect was forwarded to CWGC last October. These included the Death Certificate and lair records confiming the burial.
I have today been informed that the both have now been corrected in the Debt of Honour Roll and that, in due course, the headstone will be amended. _________________ Jim
