Peter Black was shot at dawn for desertion. He is also listed on the Newport memorial and Gordon Small`s book "The Newport on Tay and Wormit War Memorial" outlines how his friends campaigned to ensure that his name was on that memorial-against the original memorial committee`s wishes. |
