Here is another casualty I cannot find on CWGC. However with my recent poor record he will probably be there;

Surname CLARK
Firstname D R
Service Number 1789
Date Death 28/06/1915
Decoration
Place of birth Inchtyre
Other 1/7th Bn.
SNWM roll THE CAMERONIANS (SCOTTISH RIFLES)
Rank Pte
Theatre of death Dardanelles.

His MIC is on ancestry and he appears SDGW. He is commemorated on Longforgan War Memorial, Perthshire.

Mark

It appears he is missing from CWGC as he does not even show under those initials for 1915. He is listed elsewhere as an overseas death.
I am checking further.

We have found the Cameronians to be particularly careless on the paperwork front, this looks like another example. That said, 28th June 1915 was a particularly bad day for them with 472 casualties.
