It's strange how some details seem familiar and Collingwood Bn. got me thinking.
My late husband was 1st Cousin once removed of George Meiklejohn Condie who served alongside Thomas Wilson and died on the same day.
Georges Service Number ClydeZ/1926. Prior to his enlistment he was employed with Dundyvan Iron Works, Coatbridge.
He is also listed on Helles Memorial, Gallipoli Peninsula, Turkey, Panel 8 to 15.
Listed also on Coatbridge Civic memorial and Cliftonhill Church memorial which is now in New St. Andrews Church, Coatbridge.
Sorry if this is not appropriate here but just wanted to share.
