It's been a while since we have get-together of folk from the forum. Perhaps we should try for one during the summer?

I'm not thinking of any kind of meeting to sort matters out, just a general meetup where we can have a chat and get to know each other more.

I'm open to dates and suggestions for a venue. Perhaps combine it with a museum trip or something similar? How about the Black Watch museum in Perth? That's an equal distance away for most of us, and the museum is well worth a visit. We could try and arrange a tour from one of the "Tay Valley" lot and then retire to a suitable hostelry for a beverage or two...

Suggestions or opinion on a postcard-shaped post on this thread.

Perth is a long way but I will try and make it, however if it is after 16th August then I won't be able to make a weekday evening (Sat only).

Perth was just my suggestion, I'm open to other ideas.

For a day trip type get-together you are really looking at either a Saturday or Sunday.

Does that suit everyone?

Cheers

I work weekends, but if had plenty warning, could get day off. Would be nice to put faces to the names.

Like most of the others, a weekday meeting would be difficult, but weekends would normally be fine.
