I wasn't sure why Hamish Barrowman had no unit after his name. He was RAMC like the man above him.

BARROWMAN, HAMISH
Rank: Major
Regiment/Service: Royal Army Medical Corps
Age: 28
Date of Death: 23/07/1945
Service No: 153868
Additional information: Son of James and Annie McFarlane Barrowman; husband of Margaret Isabella Barrowman (nee Yuille), of Glasgow. M.B., Ch.B., D.P.H. (Glasgow).
Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead
Grave/Memorial Reference: 2. A. 3.
Cemetery: KIRKEE WAR CEMETERY

However it looks like the other man without a unit was in the Indian Army

MORRISON, CHARLES GARDNER
Rank: Second Lieutenant
Regiment/Service: 6th Rajputana Rifles
Unit Text: 2nd Bn.
Age: 26
Date of Death: 25/08/1941
Service No: EC/1318
Additional information: Son of Hector and Ethel Mary Morrison, of Newton, Lanarkshire.
Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead
Grave/Memorial Reference: 7. B. 2.
Cemetery: BASRA WAR CEMETERY

And this man was in the RAPC

LINN, WILLIAM STANLEY
Rank: Lieutenant
Regiment/Service: Royal Army Pay Corps
Age: 28
Date of Death: 01/05/1945
Service No: 270742
Additional information: Son of Alexander and Ruby Linn, of Helensburgh, Dunbartonshire.
Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead
Grave/Memorial Reference: Column 2.
Cemetery: GLASGOW CREMATORIUM

I don't know how big the 28th Glasgow Scout Group was but that's quite a lot of names of former members.

From the High School of Glasgow Book of Service and Remembrance:

"Second Lieutenant Charles Gardner Morrison, son of Mr and Mrs Hector Morrison, 19 Sunningdale Avenue, Newton Mearns, attended School from 1926 to 1931. He joined the staff of the Union Bank of Scotland on leaving school. In 1935 he transferred to the National Bank of India and remained in their London office for two years before going to the Calcutta Branch in 1937. He joined the 2/6th Rajputana Rifles early in 1940 and served in India and Iraq. Second Lieutenant Morrison was killed when A Company, which he commanded, landed at Abadan on 25th August 1941, in the face of heavy machine gun fire. His company continued to advance and soon captured the enemy post. Second Lieutenant Morrison was buried at Basra."

This was on the day of the Anglo-Soviet invasion of Iran. Abadan is just across the Shatt al-Arab waterway from Basra. In a six day campaign British and Indian casualties were 22 killed and 42 wounded.

The memorial must be in error with the middle initial.

Here's his entry from the Scout RoH made up of entries in the Scouts gazette:
Lieutenant Harry Cameron Archibald
Army.
Aged 24 years.
Died of wounds 24th April 1943.
