I had to get permission from the Office manager of the Angus Council to go into the back area which was the Old Parish Church in the town . Because the church is listed the Council had to built a temp building inside the church so the War Memorial is still in situ .

It's very elaborate for a Parish Church. I'd expect to see something like this in an Episcopal Church or RC Church.
It's a cracking memorial though, it's a shame it's hidden away.

Thank you Mark for adding my many extra pics to this entry re the Old parish Church at Arbroath . I have a variety of 55 pics taken during that visit to the Old Parish Church in Arbroath . They have come out great
