This church of Scotland church at Monikie is not normally open on a weekday , but I found the organist practising on the Saturday so managed to take photos of the two Memorials inside

I like that inscription, it's a bit different from the norm. Ironically all of them died when the grave peril to our country had actually passed.
I'm also intrigued by the figures. It looks like a soldier in battledress with a helmet and gas mask case on his chest but I can't make out what is behind him.
