This stone is in Carmichael Churchyard includes William McMorran who died in France in 1918.

A 20. Erected by William and Janet McMorran in memory of Robert their son who died at Westgate 9th February 1894 aged 2½ years; Grace Dickson their daughter & wife of Robert Montgomery died at Westgate 20th March 1906 aged 17 years & 7 months; the above William McMorran dearly beloved husband of Janet Thomson who died at Westgate 21st April 1907 aged 4[8] years; Janet Thomson his wife who died on 13th May 1926 aged 68 years; Pte. William McMorran their son who was killed in action in France 25th February 1918 aged 23 years and 10 months, husband of Margaret Morrison, New Lanark.

William Adamson who died in 1918 is on the family gravestone in Carmichael Churchyard.

U 15. In memory of Walter Adamson, late farmer in Harley Holm, who died 15th April 1896, aged 63 years; Jane Weir relict of Walter Adamson died 23rd April 1902 aged 69 years; William Adamson, farmer who died at Harley Holm 24th May 1914 aged 50 years, eldest son of the late Walter Adamson; Marion Russell Core wife of above William Adamson died at Stonehill Carmichael 21st May 1935 aged 72 years; William Adamson third son of the above William Adamson died 16th Nov 1918 aged 24 years, interred at Hortiach, Salonica; Annie Weir Adamson daughter of the above Walter Adamson died 22nd June 1954 aged 84 years.

This war grave is in Carmichael Churchyard.

E 7. Per Ardua, Ad Astra. 148684 Air Man 1st Cl. T. Inglis, Royal Air Force, 10th March 1919 age 30.
