The Naval and Military Press are currently having a January sale, with 20% off all their stock until 26th January.

Among their offers are the following:

Denny and Dunipace Roll of Honour for £3.60

Music of the Scottish Regiments for £5.56

With The Jocks for £6.39 I can recommend this one. A great read.

Brodick-Arran and the Great War for £7.16

With a Highland Regiment in Mesopotamia for £5.56

Please remember that the postage costs for the N&MP are not particularly cheap, and in the case of the Denny & Dunipace book may actually double the price you pay.

(I really should set up some kind of affiliate scheme with N&MP... Laughing )

That should be a very interesting read - especially as we have most of Arran covered except for Brodick itself.

It's not a bad wee read. Short biographies of most of the men, right down to when they were demobbed and came home.

I'd recommend it, certainly at that price.

I've got the Denny & Dunipace Book and obviously if anyone from around those parts has an interest, then it's a handy wee book.

Pretty basic stuff but gives addresses and dates of enlistment so for a few quid, not bad at all.
