Yet another thread on GWF today about bronze panels being prised off a war memorial for scrap (this time in Manchester). Crying or Very sad Evil or Very Mad What caught my eye is that the authorities are now going through records to try and find out what names were on them.

God forbid it should ever happen this side of the border, but if it did then I would hope it was one where we have clear photos of name panels. Just one more good reason why we should have clear photos of all panels and not just an overall photo with a transcription (but that helps too of course).
