What's that? Free?

Why yes!

Found this link today on one of the many "money saving" websites I regularly browse.

If you sign up for Ancestry Scotlands quarterly e-newsletter, they will give you ten credits for Scotlandspeople. Equivalent to £2.

http://www.ancestralscotland.com/signup/register/

If you have more than one email address, it may be possible to obtain more credits. Worth a try anyway.

Cheers,

David

You can use more than one email address. I've been able to get about 40 credits so far.

I registered with several email addresses but when I logged in it said I had no credits and had to buy them!

Obviously they are no longer free! Sad

If you register with Ancestral Scotland, using the link above, they will send a welcome email to you. There will be a code for Scotlandspeople in that email. When you log into Scotlandspeople, you put that code into the box for inputting a voucher.

Hey presto. 10 credits!

That's beaten me by 30, although I have some more to come, if my work colleague forwards them on to me.

I wonder how long it will be before they get wind of this and withdraw the offer?
