Only one of the Rattray parishioners are not recorded on the War Memorial in the Wellmeadow - William Beattie (delineated blue)

Pte. William Beattie, Royal Scots, son of Mr Beattie, Cotton Road, Dundee, and late of Kinloch Place, Blairgowrie, has died of wounds in a hospital abroad. Before enlisting he was employed by the Maypole Dairy Company, Dundee.
