BLACK WATCH roll of honour SNWM Edinburgh Castle:
Lieut Patrick Wright Anderson
Died (of wounds ) 2 November 1921 UK ( Arbroath )
latterly RFC & RAF
This entry is now on their website and so will be listed in the Black Watch -great War roll of honour at the Castle in Edinburgh.

listed on the chancel steps War Memorial is also the name of
Pte D JAMIESON
(the Arbroath rolll of honour book records him in the 8th Seaforth Hdrs killed at loos 25th Sept 1915 the son of William Jamieson and Joan Pert , 26 leonard street in the town .
He had 2 brothers in the army and one whom died of wounds in 1917 ( Able Seaman Alexander Pert JAMIESON , ROYAL NAVAL DIVISION son of W Jamieson of 26 Leonard Street arbroath. he is listed on the Church war memorial as well

I have this week had a communication from Lt Col Roger J. Binks , Keeper of the rolls SNWM at the castle in Edinburgh that the Trustees have accepted the application for WW2 casualty :
Captain David Johnson MILLER , 165778 South Staffs Regiment and 4th Bn 3rd Madras Regiment , Indian army killed in action Burma 23 March 1944 - born Kirkcaldy Fife
ps seems he is on the Arbroath town war memorial as well as Glenalmond College war memorial and on the outbreak of the WW2 he served in the ranks of the Cameronians before a commission in the South Staffs
