I have this week had a communication from Lt Col Roger J. Binks , Keeper of the rolls SNWM at the castle in Edinburgh that the Trustees have accepted the application for WW2 casualty :

Captain David Johnson MILLER , 165778 South Staffs Regiment and 4th Bn 3rd Madras Regiment , Indian army killed in action Burma 23 March 1944 - born Kirkcaldy Fife

ps seems he is on the Arbroath town war memorial as well as Glenalmond College war memorial and on the outbreak of the WW2 he served in the ranks of the Cameronians before a commission in the South Staffs

Another good work by Lt Col Binks again

(Patrick W Anderson ).
