THE ROSS-SHIRE JOURNAL: 13.08.1920

The first gathering of the newly-formed 4th Seaforth Highlanders Re-Union Club was held in the National Hotel, Dingwall, on Saturday, 8th August, with Col T.W. Cuthbert, CMG, DSO, Achindunie, in the chair. The company was thoroughly representative of the Battalion, and included Major Hopkinson, the last CO of the 1/4th Seaforths; Major T.D. Henderson, London; Major Iain Forsyth, Balintraid; Major Fraser, Leckmelm; Major Monro of Allan; Major W.S. Dewar, Dingwall; Captain Gilbert W. Fraser, Dingwall; Captain R. Macdonald, Tain; Captain A.M. Macintyre, St Martins; Lt D. Innes, Muir of Ord; Lt K.J. Ross, Dingwall; Lt D. Grant, Fairburn; Sgt J.F. Hunter, Dingwall; Sgt M. Mackenzie, Ullapool; Sgt Chisholm, Ullapool; Sgt Dan Menzies, Dingwall; Sgt J. Campbell, Maryburgh; Sgt R. Mackenzie, Garve; etc. The officers and men lunched at the Hotel before adjourning to the Jubilee Park, for a comprehensive sports programme involving young and old of the town and district.
