Right. I'll post some images of the non-existent memorial. It's very grand for something that isn't there. Unfortunately, I only had my wee camera with me.

Some news is coming in of a WW2 memorial window, currently lying "in bits" in Stockbridge Church, Edinburgh but previously installed in the now demolished St Bernard - Davidson church, Henderson Row, Edinburgh.

The window is by the renown artist Douglas Hamilton.

The Scottish Stained Glass Symposium and the War Memorials Trust are aware of it and I look forward to receiving more details soon.

Details of the War Memorial and Roll of Honour for the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh are at:

As of April 2011 the memorial was sited at the new Easter Bush building.
The original memorial plaque, naming 14 graduates, Student and members of staff, was unveiled on 13 June 1922 in the War Memorial library at Summerhall.
The plaque was extended in 1951 to include 23 names of WW2.

I have today photographed this memorial and have pasted the pictures in the Edinburgh schools section. If this is not correct, please edit to the correct place.
