A quick Google search has uncovered no information as to what type of company David Black & Co were.
This Roll of Honour is on display in the Royal Highland Fusiliers Museum. It is tucked away in the First world War display - so much so that the member of staff I was with had never noticed it! You can find it on the right hand side as you leave the First World War section.
My apologies for the quality of the photographs. Due to it being behind glass and photographed at an angle it was very difficult to get good shots.
