Well?
Any thoughts? Personally, I think that they should, as it is just one of many different ways for the family to remember a loved one.
But, I'll await comment (or the Boss' directive!)
I was at the 'unveiling' of a bench at Nairn in memory of Flt Lt Al Squires today; near the swimming pool - overlooking the Moray Firth. A great spot, especially with the fantastic weather that we have had for the past couple of weeks.

Yes, in fact I was just looking at a post of one five minutes ago in the Perth Individual Memorials section. There is a memorial bench for Barry Stephen of the Black Watch at Dalhousie Castle.

Yes, I have posted a couple myself. Take a look in UKNIWM and put 'bench' in a keyword and you will see that UKNIWM has loads of them listed as memorials.
