I recall visiting a (the?) Polish Club in Glasgow prior to the fall of the Iron Curtain and Warsaw Pact; the Glasgow Poles had a memorial to Katyn inside the club which left the reader under no illusion whom they held responsible for the deaths of their countrymen - they were proved correct!
