Memorial is situated within the grounds of Kinburn House Museum.

The granite slab in front of the cross was the site of General Sikorski's grave in Newark where he was buried after his death in Gibraltar. His body was exhumed in 1993 and was reinterred in Wawel Cathedral in Krakow after communism had collapsed in Poland.
The writing on the plaque isn't that clear but I can provide a transcription.
Newark was the home to the Polish Forces in exile for several years and there is quite a large plot of Polish graves
