I was looking through some old photos I took in Winchester cathedral and noticed that there are a couple of memorials to individuals who served with Scottish regiments. How do we feel about posting memorials to individuals from outside Scotland? The men served with Scottish Regiments but probably came from Hampshire themselves.

My initial thougt is that we probably should not post them. If we did, would we then post individual memorials outside Scotland to Scots born men who served with English Regiments? Or any of those very many memorials in England that have a few men who served with Scots regiments?

We already have memorials to individuals from Scottish regiments which are located outside of Scotland:

The "unknown Scottish bugler at Magersfontein, South Africa

Herbert Sykes, Adel Church near Leeds

Vernon Lewis - Addlestone Church, Surrey

There's a couple more, but I see no problem with posting a memorial to an individual who served in a Scots Regiment.

What we don't want is every civic memorial in England just because a local man was in the Scots Guards...

Thanks for the clarification, I will post the individual memorials I have and any more that I come across.
