E-bay is currently listing an amazing volume of photographs which catalogue over 130 memorial plaques which were produced by a Canadian foundry.
I've had a quick look through the photographs but didn't see any immediate Scottish connection but the more enlightened of you may be able to spot something.
Imagine if we could find in Scotland something similar to this book?
Canadian Memorial Book
Below is an example of the photographs contained in it:

Well I have found one individual on a war memorial with a Scottish connection. The following from SNWM.
Surname BIGGAR
Firstname Roy Warren
Service Number
Date Death 01/03/1918
Decoration
Place of birth
Other 116th Bn.
SNWM roll CANADIAN EXPEDITIONARY FORCE
Rank Lieut
Theatre of death F.& F.
Nothing more than that I'm afraid, can anyone look him up on SDGW to see if we can connect to a Scottish Memorial?
There are a lot of Scots names on these memorials so I have downloaded all the photos and will keep them for reference.
If I were a rich philanthropist, I would buy this, fund its restoration and donate it to a suitable museum - surely it must be unique?

Interestingly Roy Warren Biggar's attestation papers state that he was born in Hamilton, Ontario:

This chap is from the same place but is buried in Dunfermline. He's not listed on the local memorial though. HMS Furious was an aircraft carrier and perhaps was at Rosyth in September 1918?
SUTHERLAND, HUGH ANGUS
Nationality: United Kingdom
Rank: Second Lieutenant
Regiment/Service: Royal Air Force
Unit Text: H.M.S. "Furious,"
Age: 20
Date of Death: 05/09/1918
Additional information: Son of Charles and Martha Sutherland, of 156, Herkimer St., Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead
Grave/Memorial Reference: ED. 2565.
Cemetery: DUNFERMLINE CEMETERY
I've seen SNWM commemorate non-Scots in the CEF who seem to be listed because they were serving in what are considered by the SNWM as 'Scots Canadian' unit. If th1 116th Bn falls into this category that is perhaps why Lt Biggar is commemorated.
Unfortuntely SDGW only covers the Britih Army so I can't look him up there.
