The above entry for Sergt JH Watson Schivas identifies a different serviceman, Rifleman Alexander William Watson, Rifle Brigade, whose parents are from Newburgh, Fife.

The serviceman on the Tarves memorial is:

Date of death 3 November 1941 aged 23
Commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial
