Regulus

Is your last photograph the 85th Bn Canadian Expeditionary Force Memorial?

If it is do you have any close-up photographs of the plaque? I believe a Sutherland man is listed on the memorial and I would like to check.

I'm glad you've posted so many photographs from the unveiling weekend. It's great to have them after having all the others of the memorial being built posted up until now.

Kind regards

Adam

Adam,

It is indeed the 85th. PM your e-mail adress and I'll mail you the original 2 MB photo.
If it's not clear enough, let me know, I'll make new photo's within two weeks.

Best from Johan

And to my 2 pals over the weekend:
Alan Brydon of Hawick who wrote and performed "Calling Doon The Line" at the unveiling and Major (Retd) Gavin Stoddart, MBE BEM , who, with Alan, composed "The Road to Passchendale" which had its first public performance at the Scottish Tattoo that night.

Just heard Calling Doon The Line again, brought the tears to my eyes.

At our Dutch Forum this has left a very deep impression to all of us who participated...
