I am aware that the new site will be searchable on most fields , rather than only surname and cemetery. There will be an " export " feature which I think will be useful to many.
As ever, there will be some who will complain whatever CWGC do, but it will reflect CWGC’s desire to share its data, even though they are not compelled to do so. _________________ Jim

Geoff,
Thank you very much for bringing your 1914-1921 search engine back online. It is very much appreciated.
Cheers,

"Its data"? Our data, surely?
And no, perhaps they are not compelled. Exempt from FOIA requests for example. So you will never know how much IT is costing them. Very odd since it is public money.
I'm afraid GSE is on hold for a while.... sorry everybody!

Sorry to hear that Geoff, it is still, or was, my go to search engine for CWGC entries. |

That's what they need to prioritise, it's awful.
