Another conundrum!
Not only does the Rev George Condie not appear on the Glasgow University memorial he doesn`t appear on Hutcheson`s Grammar school either.Either the Strathearn Herald got it completely wrong or his family did not want him to be commemorated in any way?
Any other likely explanations?

The Rev. George Condie was awarded his M.A. in 1899, went into teaching and then attained his B.D. in 1902 (but it's not clear if this was from Glasgow Uni.) He is listed as a pre-1911 graduate (M.A.) on that section of the RoH site but I'm not sure if this means that this was some kind of cut-off date for inclusion in the RoH.
It might just be that the School and University were never told of his death in service.
