When I look back on the pleasant times He and I had together, It adds more to the dept which I am determined to assist in paying those who have been responsible for the misery and grief they have caused toward countless thousands. It may console you to know that today I have nothing but the deepest feelings of regret from all whom I came in contact with. His company comrades deplore the loss of a valuable sergeant,"
The Rev. Herbert Reid, Chaplin, has also written to Mrs Myron, and in the course of his letter he says- " Will you allow me to convey to you and yours our united sympathy in your great loss . Your Son has given his life nobly in a noble cause- For King and Country and for his God- Falling like a true soldier the post of his duty. He has Finished his course, He has fought his fight, And won home to his rest a little sooner than some of us, But that is all. A few more years and we shall be together with the lord.
