Longside - Banff & Buchan, Peterhead District
UKNIWM Ref No. 8601

The Longside war memorial is a grey granite cross set on a tall stepped pedestal which in turn stands on three octagonal steps.
The commemorations and names of the dead are listed in lead lettering on the faces of the pedestal.
The monument stands in the old kirkyard.
Unfortunately I think I've lost some pictures of the faces of the pedestal and so I havn't included a transription of the names yet.
