Captain Dugald Smith, MC. Note he is a Royal Fusilier not RSF as on the memorial.

Dugald enlisted in the 8th Bn. Royal Scots Fusiliers in December 1914 and served on the western front and in Salonica. His medal card shows him as no.16350 Company Quartermaster Sgt. and Colour Sgt.
He returned to the UK in January 1917 to train for a commission and was gazetted as a 2nd Lt. in the Royal Fusiliers in the July.
MC Citation - London Gazette 10/1/1919 p.643
T./2nd Lt. Dugald Smith, 4th Bn., R. Fus.
For conspicuous gallantry and skilful leading in command of a company, which he led down a sunken road to a ridge parallel to his objective. This move would have been severely harassed by enemy barrage if it had not been for the spirit and determination with which he carried it out. From the ridge he rushed his objective, capturing about fifty prisoners and several machine guns with the loss of two men to his company.

"Information has been received from the War Office by Mr and Mrs MacMillan, Tarff House, Tarbert, Lochfyne, that their son, Rifleman Donald MacMillan, has been killed in action. Rifleman MacMillan, who was in his 24th year, joined the Cameronians on December 3, 1915, and previous to the war was engaged as an official of the Shipping Federation, Ltd., Glasgow"
