A handsomely carved oak plaque to Hugo Francis Charteris, Lord Elcho, who was killed in the Sinai desert in 1916 and his brother, Ivo Alan Charteris, killed near Loos, 1915.

The current Earl of Wemyss and March was on "Antiques Roadshow" this evening showing a private memorial for Ivo Charteris. It is held at the family's English property - Stanway House in Gloucestershire.

Interesting that the CWGC uses Yvo but the family use Ivo. Here's his brother
