Died of Wounds in Action 24th. Was a native of Boddam. Employed Messrs Smith & Sons, Kintore. Also attendant at Kingseat Asylum before going to Canada two years ago. Well known Freemason. Occ Mason. Bailleul Communal Cemetery Fr 0284 Plot J Grave 47

Occ Driller. 1901 Census: Mother Mary Ann Stephen. 7 Blythswood View, Old Kilpatrick. Occ: was employed in the Millbank Polishing Works, Boddam before going to Glasgow.1911 Census Age 17 Occ: Stone Polisher. Helles Memorial, Turkey M. R. 04 Panel 8 to 15 AJ 15-07-15 Page 3: says John Colin.
