Speymouth Parish, Mosstodloch - Moray District
UKNIWM Ref no: 8720 , OS Ref: NC 893 554

The Speymouth Parish, Mosstodloch memorial is a tall grey granite cenotaph type monument standing on a rustic pedestal. A wreath is carved in low relief on the face and the top is crowned with a carved eternal flame. The commemoration and names of the dead are listed on alternating raised and flush bands around the shaft.
The monument stands on the A96 in the centre of the village.
The unveiling took place on Sunday 10th April 1921 by Colonel C.J. Johnston of Lesmurdie (Ref. The Northern Scot 16/04/1921).

I have amended the title of this thread to reflect the fact that it is for Speymouth Parish and is situated within Mosstodloch.

Here are the UKNIWM details. It was originally listed as Mosstodloch but has now been changed to Speymouth
