CWGC website appears to be down tonight so I'm afraid I can't confirm if this is his burial place or not. I'll amend this post tomorrow if I get that information.

Now that the CWGC website is back up and running, I can confirm that this is more a war grave than a memorial.

Unit Text: 26 Sqdn.

Additional information: Son of George James Hughes and Frances Mary Hughes, of East Hazeldean.
Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead
Cemetery: BLACKWOOD (OUR LADY AND ST. JOHN) ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCHYARD
