Pte. Robert Dunlop, H.L.I., eldest son of Mr John Dunlop, draper, Dockhead Street, Saltcoats, received a shrapnel wound on the thigh on 23rd July. He has now been discharged from hospital, and has been sent to a rest camp at the base, where he is progressing well. He enlisted in March last year. He served his time with Messrs Stewart & McDonald, Galsgow, and after being engaged for some time in his father's shop, he returned to the Glasgow firm, and was employed there at the time of his joining the Army."
