I have checked at Aberdeen & North East Scotland Family History Society and sadly they do not have a list as I hoped.

Thanks for that Jim.

I had looked at Aboyne and Shetland memorials and saw no mention of him. I saw no images of the WW2 names for Fraserburgh and weighed the chances up, glad I'm not a gambling man!

Sgt. Gordon is buried in the town though.

An unusual couple of names stood out among the WW2 casualties listed (see page 5).
I thought officers had no service numbers?
