Whitburn's war memorial was vandalised on Monday night. It's been spray painted so hopefully the council can sort it soon.

'Mini Taz', the toerag that did it kindly left his graffiti "tag" on the back of the statue so hopefully he'll be caught. What they'll do with him I don't know.

This isn't a memorial we have on the forum but the artcle gives it's location as Manse Road in Whitburn. Hopefully someone can visit it once it has been cleaned up.

What they will do with him/them will be very different from what I would do with them. Exclamation

I was always told never to volunteer, in this case I will make an exception if they want someone to 'supervise' his punishment Evil or Very Mad

I'm glad to say Whitburn's soldier is looking a good as new. I visited the memorial on Sunday and will post in detail in the Lothian section later but here is how he looks now.
