Sgt John Meikle V.C. (4th Seaforths) Memorial
Location: In front of Dingwall Railway Station
OS Ref: NH 552 586

This orginally was erected in Lanarkshire but it was moved in the 1960s because of vandalism to the safer location of Dingwall.

Sergeant Meikle is also listed on the Nithsill war memorial, Glasgow, which can be seen here:
